Removal of all components- Burners, Inducer Motor, Pressure switches, Control board, Harness, Gas valve, Blower motor, Inlet panel, High limit switch, J-box, Drain connections, Flame Sensor, Hot Surface Igniter
STEP 3
Empty Shell of Furnace
STEP 4
Pulling out complete Primary Cells & Secondary Heat Exchanger Assembly

I purchased a house with heat pump installed by Furnace & AC Expert last year.
When the control board went out 3 years later in the middle of a heat wave, I reached out to F&AC. They told me it would be weeks to months to get the part to Canada! They then followed up a few days later to say they ‘pulled some strings’ and got the part. The catch? I’d have to pay out of pocket for the part instead of it being covered by warranty.
Does the seem like a scam to anyone? Carrier seemed to think so. They confirmed the equipment carried a full parts warranty and that the replacement part was sent by them to F&AC.
So I had to bluff a little go back to F&AC to let them know I wasn’t going to pay for the part. The manager stopped taking it returning my calls, they flaked on the appointment, and my family and baby suffered through the heat wave for another week.
Eventually they installed the part under warranty, I paid for labour, and we have AC again. But I won’t be using this company next time.
